Mrs. Reininger joined the Columbia Family in 2018 as an Instructional Assistant working with the Special Education team. In 2019 she moved to Kindergarten as an IA and is currently with Mrs. K's class. Mrs. R, as she is known, has 2 grown children, Audrey, 24 and Julien 25. After many moves with her family, Boston, Barcelona, Florida, California, Philadelphia and DC, taking time off from her former career in the hotel industry, Mrs. R. worked as a preschool aide and teacher in Fairfax County. Having more time once her kids were older, she wanted a full-time opportunity working with children. She has loved working at Columbia. She enjoys traveling back "home" to her family's summer house in Massachusetts as well as spending time with her fur-baby Squanto and working in her yard.
