Thank you to all of the Columbia families and staff that marched in the Parade!

The Columbia Cougars loved showing off their “Small school with a big heart” spirit. Columbia Elementary was proud to march in the Annandale Parade sponsored by the Annandale Chamber of Commerce on October 23rd, 2022. The Parade hosted thousands of participants including clowns, marching bands, antique cars, fire trucks, civic organizations, Scouts, and costumed international dancers, all parading in front of the residents of Greater Annandale. The Annandale Parade has been a family tradition since 1950. The route ran from the historic white church and the Annandale Shopping Center near Gallows Road, all the way to the Bowling Alley-Safeway.  Students, families, staff, and the mascot, The Cougar, enjoyed cheering and passing out candy to the parade attendees.
