Why do you love working at Columbia? I love the community at Columbia!

What is your favorite thing about teaching? Seeing kids learn something new and having the "aha moment".

What is your favorite childhood memory? Bi-weekly trips with my grandmother and great-grandmother before I started elementary school.

Currently Reading: Efren Divided, Class Act, Dead Voices, Ten Thousand Tries, Wheel of Time, Sandman, and all the picture books I can find with my daughter.

Favorite place to visit: Florence, Italy

Hobbies/Interests: Family time with Mrs. Brizek and Athena, reading, writing, watching tv/movies, video editing, cooking, solving puzzles/riddles, playing video games, listening to podcasts, and enjoying sports (WE ARE!).

Fun fact! My hometown of Reading, PA might have subconsciously led me towards becoming a librarian.
