Why do you love working at Columbia? The students are the best! I look forward to seeing them every day and I am thankful I get to teach all of them every year. Their families are also supportive. The adults I work with are the most amazing people I have met in my life. We are all incredibly lucky because we couldn't ask for a better community.

What is your favorite thing about teaching? I love inspiring students to live a long, healthy life. I also enjoy getting to know all the students. It's wonderful to teach every student every year because I get to watch them grow up!

Favorite places to visit: Myrtle Beach

Favorite childhood memory: Running my first 5K with my Dad at age 10.

Hobbies/Interests: Running, hiking, weight lifting, yoga, reading, cooking, watching sporting events, watching everything Marvel and Star Wars on Disney Plus.

Fun fact! I used to be a certified EMT.
