Why do you love working at Columbia? Columbia has been a second home for me. Over the years, staff members and families in the this community have become some of my best friends. Columbia has such a welcoming community and has very supportive parents. I’ve learned so much about different cultures and grown so much as a person which I attribute to this wonderful school!

What is your favorite thing about teaching? I have MANY favorite things about teaching. At the top of my favorite list is definitely the kids! I’m reminded every day to find joy in the little things and even when things are not going right, there is always tomorrow to try again! Teaching always seems to start fresh each day and I’m thankful for that.

Favorite place to visit: Family lake house in the Adirondacks of NY

Hobbies/Interests: I love spending time with my family, shopping, eating out at restaurants and walking my dog.

Fun fact! I have a double tooth!
