Years in teaching: 5 years

Why do you love working at Columbia?: I love working at Columbia because of the atmosphere. You walk into the building and you feel welcomed immediately. You can see all the smiles on the staff and students.

Favorite thing about teaching? My favorite thing about teaching is watching students make connections to their learning. Listening to the conversations that students have about a subject, and they are making connections back to something else they have learned is just a great part of being in the classroom.

Favorite place to travel: I love to travel to the mountains.

Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy crafting, hiking, and fishing.

Fun fact: I have been a co-pilot in a small airplane.
