Years at Columbia: 5 years

Years in FCPS: 5 years and 10 years as an FCPS parent!

Why do you love working at Columbia? Columbia has a wonderful staff which makes it a pleasure to come to work every day. I also enjoy watching kids grow and move from K to 5th grade!

What is your favorite childhood memory? On the last day of school, my parents would pick my sisters and me up at school and take us to our family’s summer house in Martha’s Vineyard.

What are you currently reading? A Long Petal of the Sea by Isabel Allende

Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy photography and caring for my yard and the many birds and other animals that visit my feeders.

Fun fact! My husband and I moved seven times since we were married in 1995 for his job. My favorite place to live was Barcelona. We were married at my husband’s home in France.
