Why you love working at Columbia: The welcoming community drew me to come here. I love that everyone works hard every day to help our students grow and succeed.

What's your favorite thing about teaching? I love seeing student’s confidence grow as they learn new concepts. Also, building relationships with students who you get to see over their elementary years is so special.

Favorite vacation spot or place to travel: My husband and I have visited many countries in Europe. We can’t wait to take our daughter, Eliza, there soon!

Hobbies/Interests: I love to read historical fiction and memoirs. My weekends are typically spent visiting new parks with my family.

Fun fact: I have a 4-year-old terrier mix named Sadie. She is a goofy but snuggly dog.
