Years at Columbia ES: First year at CES

Years in FCPS: 18 years

Why do you love working at Columbia? Everybody is so warm and friendly here. I love that it is a smaller community school, and I get a chance to know families so well.

What is your favorite thing about teaching? I love working with kids. Their enthusiasm for life is contagious!

What is your favorite childhood memory? I loved visiting with my extended family as a kid, whether it be the Auction or Ocean City.

Favorite place to visit: I love Europe - any place like Ireland, Germany, or Scotland are neat places to visit.

Hobbies/Interests: I love to travel, cook, watch interesting TV, cheer for the New England Patriots, and go to the Kennedy Center for plays and musicals.

Fun fact! I don't drink coffee! At all.
