Earlier today, we were honored to announce that Columbia Elementary School 2^nd Grade Teacher, Ms. Shea Hestmark  has been recognized as the 2023-2024 FCPS Region 6 Outstanding Elementary Teacher!

As a result of this recognition, Ms. Hestmark is now a finalist for the FCPS Teacher of the Year award that will be announced later this spring.

We will be rooting for Ms. Hestmark as she represents our wonderful Columbia community, the Annandale pyramid of schools, and all of Region 6 at the FCPS Honors awards ceremony.
