We are thrilled to announce that Columbia has been selected as a recipient of an Educate Fairfax grant!  Srta. Carly Alba's project, "Building Bridges: Fostering STEAM and FLES Through LEGO® Education," was chosen from over 200 applications.

This generous grant will allow Srta. Alba to provide our students with even more enriching learning experiences in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) and FLES (Foreign Language in Elementary School).  She will be using LEGO® Education resources to create engaging, hands-on activities that promote collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.

We are incredibly grateful to Educate Fairfax for their support and for recognizing the value of innovative education, and to Srta. Alba for her initiative and dedication in writing this successful grant proposal! This grant will make a real difference in the lives of our students.
