Ms. Steib starting teaching in Fairfax County in 1995, at Glen Forest Elementary. She transferred to Columbia Elementary in 1999. Ms. Steib graduated from University Albany (NY) with Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, specializing in North and Meso American cultural anthropology and archaeology, with a minor in Classical Civilizations. Ms. Steib Spent 10 Years Active Duty, Air Force, as a Crypto Maintenance Technician, and 10 years Air Force Reserve, as a Chaplains Assistant. She taught, Teaching Social Studies in an International Setting, George Mason University, VA, Graduate School of Education - Fast Train Program. In her free time, Ms. Steib reads and quilts.
