Mrs. Uzl joined the Columbia family in 2023 as the Reading Specialist. Prior to coming to Columbia she taught 1st and 3rd grades in Alexandria City Public Schools. She graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and received her Masters in Reading Education from the University of Virginia in 2021. When not at Columbia Mrs. Uzl enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog. Her favorite thing to do on weekends is take the whole family on a long walk or hike.
