Mrs. Hitchings joined the Kindergarten team in 2006. She is a proud graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education PreK-3 and a Master’s Degree in Special Education K-12. Previously, she taught special education for one year. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dog, and dining out at restaurants. When she’s not in Northern Virginia, you can find her vacationing at a lake in upstate NY or at the beach where she grew up in Virginia Beach. She loves the color purple, loves everything about kindergarten, and is a dog lover!
